About the Yumemono Archive
The Yumemono Archive is an independent, community-driven preservation of the Yumemono (夢物) community on X. It exists because platforms are temporary: communities, posts, replies, and the images people share can vanish overnight when an account is deleted, a community is archived, or a service shuts down. This site is an attempt to keep that history readable long after the original posts are gone.
What's preserved
Every captured timeline post, reply, and reply-of-reply from the community is stored together with its author, timestamp, and conversation thread. Images and videos attached to those posts are downloaded and mirrored to durable storage rather than hot-linked, so they keep loading even if the originals on X disappear. Quoted tweets, member profile pictures, and the links inside posts are captured too, with shortened t.co links expanded back to their real destinations.
How it works
Posts are captured from a logged-in browser session of the community timeline, then normalized into a structured database. From there a static snapshot of the data is exported and rendered by this website entirely in your browser — there is no tracking, no analytics, and no account required to read it. Media files live in mirrored storage and are streamed through a small proxy so they play inline. The archive is refreshed periodically as new community activity is collected.
Who made it
This archive is a personal project by hazy, a builder in the crypto and NFT space. It is a fan-made preservation effort and is not officially operated by the Yumemono project.
